Como comienzo de año, es una época para pensar sobre qué cosas se han hecho bien en el pasado 2014 y qué cosas se pueden mejorar para el 2015. Es un momento para agradeceros todas las visitas que semanalmente recibe este blog. De cara al año nuevo ya hay ideas para crear el nº2 de Kraft & Paper magazine, más post, más videos y mucha creatividad. Así haremos que el 2015 sea un año realmente brillante.

Like the beginning of the year, it's a period to think about which things we have been made well in the past 2014 and which things can be improved for 2015. It's the moment to say thank you to you for all the visits on the blog. Thinking in the new year, it' time to think about new ideas to create the nº2 of Kraft & Paper magazine, more post, more videos and a lot of creativity. On this way, we will make a shiny 2015.

Para inspirar este comienzo, algunas imágenes del color Marsala, designado por Pantone como el color 2015. ¿Por qué Marsala? Porque es un color tan masculino como femenino, que incita a crear y experimentar. Es un color cálido, que atrae y capta la atención allá donde se utilice sin resultar estridente o fatigante. Sofisticado y elegante, os deseo un nuevo año lleno de buenas ideas.
In order to inspire this start, some images of the color Marsala, designated as the color 2015 by Pantone. Why Marsala? Because it's a color as masculine as feminine, which  incites to create and to experience. It's a warm color, which attracts and catches the eye there where it's used without being strident or exhausting. Sophisticated and elegant, I wish a new year full of good ideas to you.

Ideas para envolver regalos | Ideas to wrap presents

Pensando en los días de regalar cosas que se acercan, durante las próximas semanas iremos viendo diferentes ideas e inspiraciones para poder sorprender a las personas con las que queráis tener un detalle.
Para ello, hoy os muestro cómo utilizar el Envelope Punch, de la marca "We R Memory keepers". Podéis ver el vídeo original que utilicé aquí. Las medidas de la tira de papel para hacer el lazo más grande son 1 1/2" (1 pulgada y media) x 10" (10 pulgadas) . Las marcas las debéis realizar a la distancia de 2" y 5"; junto con una última de 2" también al final.
Thinking on this days of giving away things that come close, during the next weeks we will keep seeing different ideas and inspirations to surprise the people with whom you want to have a detail.
For that, today I show you how to use the Envelope Punch, from "We R Memory keepers". You can see the original video that I used here. The measures of the paper strip to do the biggest ribbon are 1 1/2" (1 inch and a half) x 10 (10 inches). The marks you must do it from 2" and 5"; and one last of 2" also in the end.

La verdad es que resulta muy fácil de hacer y el resultado es realmente genial. Cualquier sencillo paquete queda inmediatamente decorado con un lazo como el que veis. Además, si lo combináis con alguna etiqueta y alguna hoja verde, el resultado final será perfecto.

The truth is that it is very easy to do and the result is really brilliant. Any simple packet remains immediately decorated with a ribbon as the one that you see. Besides, if you combine it with some label and some green leaf, the final result will be perfect.

Keith Haring

Esta semana, el 1 de Diciembre, se ha conmemorado el Día Internacional contra el SIDA. Es un día en el que concienciar sobre la importancia de la prevención. En el post de hoy, os presentamos a KEith Haring, un artista pop que falleció debido a esta enfermedad; pero que dejó una gran cantidad de obras coloristas y potentes.

El arte de Keith Haring es un arte que recuerda al arte callejero, al grafiti. Sus cuadros, pinturas y esculturas son dinámicas, inspiran movimiento y vida. Keith Haring utilizó su estilo para hacer visible la enfermedad y para concienciar acerca de la importancia de la prevención. Precisamente sobre esta temática trata el mural que Haring pintó en la ciudad de Barcelona, en el año 1989. Fue restituido hace unos meses, junto a la plaza del Macba.

This week, on the 1st of December, it has been commemorated on the International Day against Aids. It is a day  to make aware about the importance of the prevention. In the post of today, we present you  Keith Haring, a pop artist that died due to this illness; but that left a large quantity of coloristic and powerful works.

The art of Keith Haring is an art that reminds the street art,the graffiti. His works, paints and sculptures are dynamic, inspire movement and life. Keith Haring used his style to make the illness visible and to make aware about the importance of the prevention. Precisely about this subject treats the mural that Haring painted in the city of Barcelona, in the year 1989. It was returned some months ago, beside the square of the Macba.

Wirin Chaowana es una artista tailandesa que basa su trabajo en modelar el papel. Se inspira en las composiciones florales típicas de Tailandia, y a partir de formas geométricas, pliegues y composiciones logra resultados tan espectaculares como éstos.

Wirin Chaowana is a Thai artist who bases her work on modelling the paper. She is inspired by the typical floral compositions of Thailand, and from geometrical forms, folds and compositions, she achieves results as spectacular as these.

Sí, te guste o no, se acerca la Navidad. Y como probablemente te tocará hacer algún regalo, al menos preocúpate de que destaque entre los demás con alguna de estas ideas infalibles. Seguro que conseguirás que tu regalo sea realmente especial.
