Before the year finish, and Pantone says what would be the new color of the year, we will show you 7 wonderful ideas to make the marsala color and its possibilities in different sets of stationery and cards.That flow inspiration!

1. En esta combinación el color marsala es el protagonista del exterior del sobre. La combinación la completa la invitación en color negro, junto con un estampado floral de rosas en diferentes tonos rojos, rosas y granates. Fijaos en la combinación de diferentes tipografías. Da como resultado una invitación más informal.
1. In this combination, marsala color is the protagonist outside the envelope. The combination is completed with the black invitation, and the floral print with roses in different colors: red, pink and burgundy. Look at the mix of different typographies. As a result of that, the invitation is more casual.

Durante los próximos 5 días vamos a mostrar diferentes ideas para utilizar una forma geométrica: el hexágono. Como siempre, a partir del papel, mostraremos ideas sencillas para realizar tarjetas, etiquetas y decoraciones para la casa.

During the next 5 days we are going to show different ideas to use a geometrical form: the hexagon. As always, from the paper, we will show simple ideas to create cards, labels and decorations for the house.

Pendant les 5 jours prochains nous allons montrer de différentes idées pour utiliser une forme géométrique : l'hexagone. Comme toujours, à partir du papier, nous montrerons des idées simples pour réaliser des cartes, des étiquettes et des décorations pour la maison.

Hoy mostramos dos ideas partiendo de una misma base: realizar unas tarjetas simples y decorativas sin mucho esfuerzo.

Today we show two ideas setting off from a same base: create some simple and decorative cards without a lot of effort.

Aujourd'hui nous montrons deux idées en partant d'une même base : réaliser des cartes simples et décoratives sans beaucoup d'effort.

Tan sólo necesitamos una combinación de papeles de diferentes colores y texturas que nos gusten, y combinarlas como más queramos. En esta ocasión, no hemos realizado superposiciones, sino que se ha respetado la disposición en celda de abeja. Recortando el borde junto a la silueta del hexágono, se hace más visible el aspecto geométrico de la tarjeta.

Only we need a combination of papers with different colors and textures that like us, and to combine them as we want more. On this occasion, we have not made superpositions, but the arrangement has been respected in bee cell. Cutting the edge beside the silhouette of the hexagon, the geometrical aspect of the card is made more visible.

Nous avons seulement besoin d'une combinaison de papiers de différentes couleurs et textures qui nous plaisent, et les combiner comme plus nous voulons. Dans cette occasion, nous n'avons pas réalisé de superpositions, mais on a respecté la disposition en cellule d'abeille. En découpant le bord avec la silhouette de l'hexagone, on rend plus visible l'aspect géométrique de la carte.

Para rematar la tarjeta, nada como escribir un mensaje a mano que refuerce la idea que queremos transmitir al entregarla. 

To finish off the card, nothing as a message to write that reinforces the idea that we want to transmit when delivering it by hand.

Pour achever la carte, rien comme un message écrire à portée de la main qu'il|ellerenforce l'idée que nous voulons transmettre en la livrant.

Colores de Octubre | October colors

Octubre es un mes de transición, en el que el otoño ya se manifiesta en todo su esplendor. La parte más visible del otoño son sus colores: marrón, naranja, rojos, amarillos y algo de verde tiñen a este mes.
October is a transitional month, when the fall already appears in all its splendor. The most visible part of the fall they are its colors: brown, orange, reds, yellow and something of green dye to this month.

En este post hay una selección de imágenes que inspiran tarjetas según la gama cromática de esta estación del año.
In this post there is a selection of images that inspire cards according to the chromatic range of this station of the year. 

 

Esta tarjeta juega con las texturas del papel y los colores, recreando diferentes hojas de árboles. Para cerrar el conjunto, un sencillo botón con un lazo es suficiente.  

 This card plays with the textures of the paper and the colors, recreating different tree leaves. Close the set a simple button with a ribbon, is sufficient.

En este caso, la tarjeta utiliza el negativo que queda tras recortar la silueta de una hoja. El contraste entre el negro y el papel naranja centra toda la atención sobre la silueta recortada.

In this case, the card uses the negative that remains after cutting the silhouette of a leaf. The contrast between the black and the orange paper focuses all the attention on the cut silhouette. 

Esta tarjeta es sencilla de hacer: basta con cubrir la franja que queremos dejar sin decorar con cinta adhesiva de papel. Para estampar, basta con unos sellos de hojas y tintas que tengan los colores de esta época del año. Retiramos la cinta y el resultado queda así de bien.

This card is simple of doing: it's enough to cover the strip which we want to leave without decorating with adhesive paper tape. To print, it's enough with a few stamps of leaves and inks that have the colors of this period of the year. We withdraw the tape and the result remains like this. 

Esta tarjeta es de las más sencillas. Podéis hacerla con alguna de las hojas de platanero que caen en las ciudades en estas semanas. ¡Las avenidas están llenas! Jugad con las texturas, como la tela de saco, o el papel kraft. Una manera simple de agradecer o felicitar.

This card is of the simplest. You can make it with one of the banan tree leaves that fall in the cities, in these weeks. The avenues are full! Play with the textures, as the burlap or the kraft paper. A simple way of thanking or congratulating.

 

Esta combinación para las invitaciones me parece preciosa. Utilizando el estampado inglés tan característico, es una forma muy elegante de invitar a un evento.

 This combination for the invitations it's amazing. Using the characteristic english print, it's a very elegant way of inviting to an event.

 

Por último, aquí tenéis una idea para mancharos las manos y dejar fluir la creatividad: coged hojas secas, algunos papeles y pintura de colores. Utilizas las hojas como plantillas y superponed capas de pintura y hojas, estampando las siluetas. 

¡Seguro que el resultado os sorprende y gusta a parte iguales!

 Finally, here an idea for you and to let the creativity flow: catch dry leaves, some papers and paint of colors. Use the leaves as templates and superpose layers of paint and leaves, printing the silhouettes.

¡Bienvenido Otoño! | Welcome Autumn!

Otoño no es sólo el mes en el que los días empiezan a ser más cortos y se nota que llega el frío. Otoño es, además, una estación del año en que los árboles cambian de color (¡y el espectáculo es precioso!), apetece ponerse algo más de ropa, abrigarse, las bebidas calientes, las tardes en casa y, por qué no, encontrar la inspiración donde menos lo esperas.

En esta ocasión, aprovechando los colores típicos de otoño, he elaborado unas postales con restos de papeles, un spray de pintura y un troquel con forma de hoja.

Autumn is not only the month in which the days start to be shorter and it hat the cold arrives. Autumn is, specially, a station of the year in which the trees change color (and the show is precious!), putting something else of clothes feels like, the hot drinks,  the afternoons at home and, why not, to find the inspiration where you wait for it less.
On this occasion, making use of the typical colors of fall, I have elaborated some postcards with remains of papers, a paint in spray and a punch with form of leaf.

El primer paso es salpicar algo de pintura verde sobre los papeles. Para cambiar y aumentar su textura, antes de troquelarlos, es mejor arrugarlos, sin miramientos. Así se consigue un efecto más irregular propio de las hojas auténticas.

The first step is to splash it something of green paint on the papers. In order to change and increase their texture, before punch them, it is better to wrinkle them, without considerations. Like this, a more irregular effect characteristic of the authentic leaves is obtained.

En esta ocasión, he utilizado un conjunto de sellos de abecedario y unas sencillas cartulinas blancas. De esta forma, todo el protagonismo recae sobre las hojas de papel, cuyo color y textura contrastan absolutamente con el fondo blanco.

On this occasion, I have used a set of alphabet stamps and some simple white cardboards. This way, all the protagonism falls on the leaves of paper, whose color and texture contrast absolutely with the white background.

Además, aprovechando las que han sobrado, he pegado unas cuantas hojas más sobre una cartulina gris, formando una corona. Es una buena idea para poder hacer una tarjeta de felicitación si alguien de vuestros amigos cumple años durante esta época.

Besides, making use of those that have been in excess, I have stuck some leaves more on a grey cardboard, forming a crown. It's a good idea to be able to make a greetings card if somebody of your friends celebrates years during this period.

Barcelona en una tarjeta | Barcelona in a card

El trabajo de hoy es una tarjeta un poco especial. Se trataba de felicitar un aniversario, pero de una manera especial. Una tarjeta que recogiera la esencia de una ciudad. En este caso, Barcelona.
Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer es bajar por el Passeig de Gràcia hacia la parte antigua de la ciudad. Es una gran avenida con grandes árboles, edificios preciosos y unas características baldosas diseñadas por Antonio Gaudí.
The work of today is an a little special card. A card to congratulates an anniversary, but about a special way. A card thatcollected the essence of a city. In this case, Barcelona.
One of the things which I like more to make is to walk through the Passeig de Gràcia towards the ancient part of the city. It's a big avenue with big trees, precious buildings and some characteristic tiles designed by Antonio Gaudí.

Para hacer la tarjeta me basé en tres elementos de esta avenida: las baldosas de Gaudí, los mosaicos y el verde de sus árboles.
To make the card I based on three elements of this avenue: the tiles of Gaudí, the mosaics and the green of the trees.

Utilizando un papel de la colección "Barcelona" de Ilu Ilus, una base de color gris y un poco de musgo liofilizado, creé una tarjeta sencilla con efecto pop-up.
Using a paper of the collection "Barcelona" of Ilu Ilus, a base of grey color and a little dried moss, I created a simple card with pop-up effect. 

Para darle protagonismo a la persona que recibía la tarjeta, dibujé la inicial "B" en un estilo modernista, de forma que la fuera una tarjeta única y personalizada.
To give protagonism to the person that received the card, I drew the initial "B" in a modernistic style, so that was her an only and personalized card.

Para presentarla, hice una pequeña caja en con un papel de un color a juego, que personalicé con algunas baldosas y diseños hidráulicos tan típicos de la ciudad.
To present it, I did a small box in with a one-colored paper to set, which I personalized with some tiles and hydraulic designs that were so typical of the city.

Una forma de sorprender con una tarjeta original y distinta.

En azul | Into the blue

Últimamente es imposible escapar al azul. Lo veréis en tiendas y revistas, en toallas, libretas o  gafas de sol.  Será que se acerca el verano y apetece estar junto al mar. O simplemente que se trata de un color que tranquiliza, relaja y estimula la creación de ideas y la creatividad. En cualquier caso, es un color que me gusta, de modo que hoy presento ocho ideas que unen el papel con el color azul.

Lately it is impossible to escape the blue. I see in stores and magazines, towels, books or sunglasses. Do not know if it's that summer is coming and want to be by the sea. Or simply that it is a color that calms, relaxes and stimulates new ideas and creativity. In any case, it's a color that I like, so today I present eight ideas that unite the paper with blue color.
